I have worn exclusively AG jeans for nearly a decade.I believe these are geniune, but the discounted pair I got are the made in Mexico version, which have European fabric labelling (viscose vs rayon). They are lower quality then my made in USA pairs, especially the wash, which is more uniform and not as pictured on the AG web site. The dye runs everywhere even after laundering.There seems to have been some fabric reduction to lower costs. The waistband is a bit narrower, which results in a lower rise. The serged edges on the inside of the jeans are narrower. For the price I paid I'm happy enough but beware if you pay full price. Maybe buy AG jeans directly from their web site if you want the best quality.These are soft, flattering, comfortable and durable. The only drawback - and it's a big one - is they leave dye EVERYWHERE. My legs and feet are dyed blue by the end of the day. This is after I've washed them several times. It rubs off on any other clothing you're wearing. I'd consider buying this brand again, but would have to buy them in a different wash, or they'd need to improve their dye process to reduce transfer.When I first purchased these I would have given them five stars. Considering I've had them for 6+ months I am only giving them four stars. The material has started to pill and the fit seems to have lost some shape. I really love the buttery feel of the jeans and they are my go to when I want to feel and look great.Unfortunately, these run small. I have a butt and full thighs and I’m tall, so they didn’t work for me.I bought these for my sister for her birthday because I have 3 pairs that I bought from Nordstrom and I love them. (I bought them here for her because of the 2 day shipping as she lives in a different city).She got them in October and says she has only worn them 3 times. Initially she loved them but after the 3rd wear the material in the front started to pull in a very unflattering way... it looks as if there is a snag in the material on both sides of the pants. I looked at them when I was there for Thanksgiving and they are made of a completely different material than mine (All 3 of mine were bought at different times, but quality and material remained consistent). This is way thinner and obviously cheap! Do not buy these from amazon, THEY ARE NOT AUTHENTIC!I have at least 5 pairs of AG jeans in a variety of styles. I am happy with these though wish they were maybe an inch or two shorter in the inseam as I will have to get them tailored to wear in spring and summer without bunching at the bottom when in flats.These are not at all as advertised. Not AG, even the label says a different brand and they feel like target jeans. Fit and color do not match the description. The Farrah jean by AG is a high rise, these are mid and the wash is much lighter than depicted. It looks like they’ve sewed on an AG tag to TJ Max jeans...What happened to the quality of AG jeans? The fabric is thin and very stretchy. They feel like jeggings, not like actual jeans. For the high price this is not ok! I am returning them ASAP.Ok but won't stop dyeing my legs blue. I've washed them and soaked in vinegar but nothing has helped. Pretty sure these aren't authentic.Great stretch , keeps their shape , perfect high waist
